This dataset provides detailed quarterly market volume data for Basement waterproofing (PMBC, cementitious slurry) in Germany for the period Q1/2021 to Q4/2031. Basement waterproofing made of polymer modified bituminous thick coatings and cementitious slurries is applied to earth-contact elements and keeps moisture away from the structure – from the outside in new construction, and also from the inside in renovation. The data is broken down into the four main construction segments and is also available as a total market figure. Forecasts are based on a model-based approach using building completions, building permits, renovation rates, and product-specific market shares and consumption intensities. The model has been validated using industry association statistics and sector studies. Unit: thousand tonnes. The dataset is delivered in CSV format with all 44 quarters.
