Future of BioAI

May 12, 2026

Future of BioAI: Sustainable. Innovative. Economical.

Our international online event FoB:AI – Future of BioAI, held on 12 May 2026, brought together decision-makers, users and technology providers, creating a vibrant platform for exchange on the use of artificial intelligence and digitalisation in biotechnology and sustainable industry. The event offered an inspiring setting to explore current developments, concrete applications and future opportunities at the intersection of AI, digitalisation and the bioeconomy.

The focus was on digitalisation and AI as shared enablers for advancing the bioeconomy in measurable ways — from research and material development to bioprocesses and production, including OT/IT integration and digital twins, as well as sustainability data, compliance and the circular economy.

At the heart of the event were the questions currently shaping many companies’ strategic agendas: How can complexity be managed effectively? Where does AI create real added value? And how can first ideas be translated into industrial application?

In addition to the expert contributions, FoB:AI offered numerous opportunities for networking. Participants were able to establish valuable contacts with potential customers, suppliers, partner companies and other relevant stakeholders at the interface of technology and biological value creation.

Whether as participants or speakers, everyone involved actively contributed to the success of FoB:AI. Through their commitment, expertise and insights, the event became a dynamic, inspiring and highly successful industry gathering — bringing AI and the bioeconomy together and providing valuable impulses for intelligent, sustainable solutions.
